Thank you – Next Meeting

April 15, 2014

Those of you that attended the meet, a big thank you, especially those made donations to support the club, and those that helped with setup and tear down.
For those of you that missed the meet, there were many nice radios for sale.

Our next meeting is Sunday, April 27th at Radio Shack. The topic will be “Radio Whatzits”. Bring in your unidentified radio object. We will also discuss the meet; what went well, what can we do better. Bring a friend and bring a radio.

Pics from the February 23 club meeting.

March 10, 2014

February 23.

February’s topic was Paper and Ephemera.
We had quite a few presenters, and many of the items were very interesting to examine. Topics like these can provide ideas on pieces to seek out to enhance an existing collection, consider collecting something different, or just enjoy learning more about the history behind the items from a personal collection.

Next Monthly Meeting will be Sunday February 23

February 19, 2014
Our next Monthly Meeting will be Sunday, February 23, at 1:30 p.m. This meeting will be at an alternate location: 1101 Kermit Drive, suite 104 (lower entrance). We will return to the Radio Shack location in March.
The theme of this meeting will be Paperwork: books, advertisements, manuals, etc. If you have interesting documentation to share with fellow collectors, this will be a great opportunity. This is primarily show-and-tell, no obligation to buy or sell. However, feel free to bring any type of item for tailgating or to get more information on.
See you there!
